The Trenton Historical Society houses a variety of collections from "The Lucy Shirmer Collection" to old photos and obituaries. Collections are housed in the local history room of the Trenton Memorial Library and the Trenton High School. Please visit us during our library hours, or email us for additional information.

Collections

The Lucy Shirmer Collection housed in the Archives contains papers used by Mrs. Shirmer in the writing of the book , "Snug Harbor," as well as various books, photos, and maps donated by the Shirmer estate.
Obituary Collection is housed in the Local History Room of the Trenton Veterans Memorial Library.  You can search the online database to see if we have the obituary you are looking for.

Family Biography Collections are stored in the Archives in the Trenton High School. Contains genealogical and biographical information on noted Trenton families and residents. Many family names have extensive genealogical information.
