Visit the Historic Victorian style home built in 1881 by John and Sarah Moore. The museum is decorated in the Victorian period and contains information on the history of Trenton and artifacts of the area.
The museum is open every Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. except January and August during which time the museum is closed.
In December, the Museum is beautifully decorated for the holiday season. Come and enjoy this special "Victorian Christmas".
July is also a festive time for the museum during the Trenton’s Mid-Summer Festival.
If you are interested in special tours, please call (734) 675-2130.
The Trenton Museum is independently run by the Trenton Historical Commission, a city chartered group committed to maintaining the Museum and preserving Trenton history.
The commission is a separate group from the Trenton Historical Society. This website is developed in partnership with the Historical Society as part of our new initative to provide more of Trenton's historical resources online. You can visit the Society's webpage here.
